🔥 A wildfire of unknown origin broke out around 1:42–1:43 PM on the 17th on a hill in Jidong-ri, Nongam-myeon, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongbuk. Forestry authorities and Gyeongbuk Province are currently conducting firefighting operations 132467.

Authorities have deployed 10 firefighting helicopters, 37 firefighting vehicles, and approximately 110 personnel. As of the time of reporting, the containment rate is estimated at 80% 23567. Forestry authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage once the flames are fully extinguished 17.
